University  Hospital  Southampton Endobariatrics Course

In September we ran the inaugural UHS Endobariatrics Course with leading expert faculty teaching the use of Endoscopic Suturing using the Overstitch device. Multiple bariatric applications including Endoscopic Sleeve Gastroplasty (ESG), Transoral Stomal Reduction (TOR) and Stent Fixation were taught with interactive lectures and a strong focus on practical wet lab hands on practice and demonstration.

Following the excellent success ofthis first course, we are making plansfor further courses and would welcome suitable BOMSS membersto registerinterest (Course dateTBC).Thiscourseis primarily targeted at senior trainees, fellows and early years consultants*.
