The next steps

A detailed 30 minute consultation to discuss your medical history, current lifestyle/eating habits, current BMI and weight loss goals. You and Mr Kelly will discuss and compare the weight loss procedures in detail, to determine the most clinically appropriate to match your weight loss goals. You are under no obligation to go ahead with surgery following the consultation. The initial consultation is carried out remotely or face to face and costs £150, to book your appointment please contact us.
Prior to your surgery date, you will meet the dietitian remotely to discuss your pre-surgery liver reduction diet and post-surgery diet plan to optimise your weight loss success. You will also meet the nurse specialist during your pre-assessment appointment at your treating hospital. The anaesthetist will also review your notes and contact you if necessary.
Each weight loss procedure has different on the day requirements and this will be discussed further at initial consultation and pre-assessment.
Following your procedure you will follow a 2 year aftercare plan, with regular follow up appointments with the dietitian, nurse specialist and Mr Jamie Kelly.
